Regional developer, Gilbert & Goode, celebrates its second successful acquisition in Devon.
Regional developer, Gilbert & Goode has successfully secured its latest site acquisition in the Devon village of Merton, near Okehampton.
This is the companies second acquisition within Devon in the past 6 months and demonstrates the sustainable growth plans eastwards, underpinning G&Gs standing as a regional developer of choice.
The site will deliver a neighbourhood of 33 homes, creating a mixed tenure scheme which will include 6 affordable homes, and offer a collection of one, two, three and four-bedroom homes.
Senior Development Manager for Gilbert & Goode, Craig Rowe, commented: “Following the comprehensive due diligence of the team and working with our legal advisors Stephens Scown, we are delighted to be progressing this beautifully designed ‘oven ready’ scheme to start on site later this year.”
The former Manor of Merton, now established as a beautiful Devon village, is a highly desirable rural location. The village offers a great range of local amenities including primary school, village store and 18th century pub & coach inn. Further facilities are provided by the nearby market town of Okehampton.
Emma Coltham, Sales Manager for Gilbert & Goode, remarked: “We are expecting this location to be a popular one, with huge demand by those looking for a countryside home in a quintessential village setting. We are thrilled to have secured this site and can’t wait to commence its marketing.”
Marketing of these homes is set to launch in 2023. To register an early interest, please email email@example.com
