Terms and Conditions

This page (together with our groups policies, privacy notices and conditions) confirms the terms and conditions on which we run any of our offers, promotions, competitions and giveaways. Please read these terms and conditions carefully to ensure your full understanding of them.

Social Media Giveaways

1. For the purposes of these terms, the Promoter Gilbert and Goode Limited trading as Gilbert & Goode with registered office Stennack House, Stennack Road, St. Austell, Cornwall, PL25 3SW whose Instagram handle is @gilbertandgoodehomes and Facebook page is @Gilbert & Goode (“Promoter Accounts”). Please note that Gilbert & Goode is part of the Ocean Housing Group.

2. The giveaway is open to all UK residents aged 18 years or over with a UK main-land residential address, except employees of the Promoter, their families, agents, representatives, advisors, sub-contractors or suppliers of the Promoter (or its affiliated companies and/or their
immediate families) or any third party directly associated with operation or administration of the giveaway.

3. The “Prize” is as described in the caption of the Giveaway Post on the Promoter Accounts.

4. This giveaway is open to entries from inside the UK only.

5. All entries must be submitted by complying with the terms specified in the Giveaway Post to constitute a valid entry and only one entry per person. Entries through agents or third parties are invalid.

6. These terms are in addition to those set in the Giveaway Post caption. By entering the giveaway, you agree and accept to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry; these terms are accessible via the link in the Promoter Accounts. If there is any conflict between
these terms and the Giveaway Post caption then these terms will prevail.

7. The entry requirements in the Giveaway Post caption and these terms should be clear and easy to understand. However, if you are having trouble understanding the terms please direct message the Promoter on one of the Promoter Accounts and the Promoter shall endeavour to clarify any questions that you have.

8. You must comply with META’s terms and conditions in order for your entry to be counted but please note that Instagram, Facebook and/or META are not in any way affiliated, connected or involved in the giveaway, nor have they endorsed this giveaway.

9. The giveaway is free to enter, and no purchase is necessary. Winners will never be asked by the Promoter to pay to enter the giveaway competition and the Promoter will never ask you to provide bank details.

10. The Promoter will only ever contact you via one of the Promoter Accounts. Please be aware of scammers and/or phishing accounts and note that the Promoter will not be held liable for instances for any loss where third parties have imitated, impersonated or represented themselves as the Promoter and/or otherwise connected to the giveaway and the Promoter.

11. One winner will be chosen at random via: a random name generator within 5 days after the Closing Date of the giveaway, and from the valid entries made to the competition. The winner will ONLY be notified by direct message on the Promoter Accounts within 10 days of the Closing Date and must provide a UK-main land residential postal address to claim the Prize. You must ensure that you have permission of the homeowner to share the residential address with the Promoter.

12. The winner will receive the Prize within 30 days of the Closing Date unless the winner does not respond to the Promoter’s contact efforts and/or fails to provide a suitable address as specified above. If the winner, within 5 days of being notified by the Promoter, (1) does not respond to the Promoter; and/or (2) does not provide the necessary details for posting the Prize; and/or (3) declines acceptance of the Prize, then the winner’s Prize will be forfeited, and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the random draw process described above.

13. Subject to paragraph 12 above, the Prize will be sent to the winner by post within 7 days of the winner responding to the notification by the Promoter of their win. The Promoter shall not be held liable where a courier and/or postal service has failed to deliver the Prize to the winner.

14. The Prize for the winner is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, non-returnable and no cash alternative is offered.

15. In the unlikely event that the original Prize is unavailable, a reasonable equivalent will be provided to the winner.

16. The Promoter reserves the right at any time and its sole discretion to verify the eligibility of any entrant (including their age and/or residential address) and you agree to comply with such request.

17. The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the Prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.

18. By entering this giveaway, you agree to take part in unpaid related promotional activities (such as publicity and photography) surrounding the winning of the Prize and consent to the Promoter using your name and image in promotional material, including but not limited to announcing you as the winner on the Promoter Accounts.

19. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the Prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.

20. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes unavoidable. For instance, the Promoter may extend the Closing
